Updating your KYC information
What to do if your legal details have changed or your identity documents have expired.

As a custodial wallet, Walletix must maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all our users. If your personal situation changes for example, if you move to a new country or change your legal name your account information must be updated to reflect these changes.
When should you update your information?
- Expired ID: If the passport or driver's license you used to verify your account has expired, you must submit a new, valid document to keep your account in good standing.
- Name Change: If your legal name has changed due to marriage or other legal reasons, your Walletix profile must be updated to match your new government-issued ID.
- Address Change: Moving to a new region may change the financial services or limits available to you. Keeping your address current ensures you are always in compliance with local laws.
How to Update Your Details:
- Contact Support: Email support@walletix.io with the subject line "KYC Update."
- Submit New Documents: Be prepared to provide a clear photo of your new ID or proof of residence (such as a utility bill).
- Security Check: For your protection, our team will perform a manual review to ensure the request is coming from you. This may involve a live selfie check similar to the one performed during your initial sign-up.
