How to change a lost email address
The verification steps required to update your account email if you can no longer access the original one.

Your email address is the primary way we verify your identity and protect your funds. If you have lost access to your email, we require a high-level security check to update it. This ensures that no unauthorized person can take over your account.
Requirements for Email Change:

- Valid Identity Document: A clear photo of the same government-issued ID (Passport, Driver’s License, or National ID) you used during your initial KYC verification.
- The "Identity Selfie": A clear picture of yourself holding two things:
- The ID document mentioned above.
- A piece of paper with the word "WALLETIX" and the current date clearly handwritten on it.
- New Email Address: Specify the new email address you would like to link to your account.
Note: Once our security team verifies your identity and the "holding-paper" selfie, we will manually update your account. This process can take 24–48 hours for your protection.
