Buying cryptocurrency on Walletix is straightforward, but it’s important to know that the process involves a third-party partner, MoonPay. Because Walletix is a secure custodial wallet and not a direct exchange, we redirect you to MoonPay to handle your payment securely.
Step-by-Step Purchase Guide:
- Select 'Buy' in the App: Open your Walletix app and tap the Buy button on your dashboard or within a specific asset screen.
- Redirect to MoonPay: You will be automatically redirected to the official MoonPay website.
- Verify Your Identity: If this is your first time using MoonPay, you will need to complete their specific KYC (Know Your Customer) process. This is separate from your Walletix verification and ensures your payment is safe.
- Copy Your Wallet Address: Before completing the purchase, return to the Walletix app, go to the asset you want to buy, tap Receive, and Copy your unique wallet address.
- Paste and Pay: Go back to the MoonPay screen and Paste your Walletix address into the destination field. Choose your payment method (Debit/Credit Card or Bank Transfer) and confirm the transaction.
- Wait for Arrival: Once MoonPay processes your payment, the coins will be sent to your Walletix address. This typically takes a few minutes, depending on network traffic.
Important Note: The buying process is not automatic. You must manually copy your address from Walletix and paste it into MoonPay to ensure your coins arrive in the correct wallet.
