To comply with global financial regulations and provide you with a high-limit, fully functional wallet, Walletix requires a few pieces of information during your onboarding process. Having these ready will ensure your account is approved without delay.
The Checklist:
- A Valid Smartphone: The Walletix app requires a modern iOS or Android device with a functioning camera for identity verification.
- Government-Issued Photo ID: We accept high-quality photos of your International Passport, Driver’s License, or National ID card.
- Personal Information: You will need to provide your full legal name (as it appears on your ID), date of birth, and current residential address.
- Tax/Identification Numbers:
- US Users: You must provide your Social Security Number (SSN).
- Nigerian Users: You must provide your NIN or BVN.
- Internet Connection: A stable connection is required to sync with the blockchain and process your real-time market data.
Tip for Success: When taking photos of your documents, ensure you are in a well-lit room and that all four corners of the ID are visible. Avoid using a flash to prevent glare on the holographic parts of your ID.
